Springboard: Producers 2024

 

The 2024/25 cohort of Springboard talent is an exciting group of emerging producers who have created original and impressive work in their first films. This ten month programme of support, mentoring, networking and development sessions is designed to help them as they progress towards their second features.

The programme is supported by the ScreenSkills Film Skills Fund and The Wiggin Charitable Foundation, with The Film and TV Charity and One Hundred Shoreditch as venue partners.

Producers on the 2024/25 programme have credits that include Pretty Red Dress, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, In Camera, Doctor Jekyll, Dalton’s Dream, Layla and County Lines.

Mentors for the programme included Sol Papadopolous, Mike Goodridge, Kezia Williams, Ivana MacKinnon, Rob Watson, Uzma Hasan, Daniel-Konrad Cooper, Neil Chordia, Kate Glover, Tracy O’Riordan.

The first session – introductory networking hosted at One Hundred Shoreditch – took place on Tuesday 7 May 2024. The cohort met one another for the first time, along with their mentors and an invited group of industry representatives including ScreenSkills, Screen, Intermission Film and The Film and TV Charity.

Sessions included focuses on finance, budgeting and scheduling, wellbeing, sustainability, non-traditional funding, building a slate, building confidence, legal insights and more. Plus one-to-one sessions with mentors, screening opportunities and more.
