Tim Platt
Tim has over 16 years’ experience in film & TV marketing working across Distribution, Exhibition, Festivals, Publishing, VoD and Production.
He is currently Head of Marketing & Audience Growth at the British Film Institute (BFI), part of the senior leadership team, overseeing the marketing, brand & creative, social media, CRM and Broadcast teams working across the BFI’s industrial, commercial and public programmes activity.
He was executive producer for Penny Woolcock’s short film Out of the Rubble in 2015, and is currently an exec producer on a forthcoming feature documentary with Universal Pictures alongside several TV programmes for VoD and Broadcast. He has led numerous award-winning campaigns including Screen Awards’ Best Theatrical Marketing Campaign for Mark Jenkin’s Bait in 2019.
