Teanne Andrews

Teanne Andrews is the award-winning Co-founder|Director of Operations at We Are Parable and an acclaimed events producer. 

With over 15 years of experience in engaging national and local audiences across film and visual arts, Teanne has worked with the like Film4, British Film Institute, Film London, Disney, Channel 4, Studiocanal and Warner Bros as well as grassroot organisations to help support the release of new titles, engaging audiences across the UK. 

Through producing innovative and culturally relevant events that centre and celebrate Black cinema, Teanne is an expert in weaving a sense of community through every project, creating memories that build a deeper emotional connection to audiences. 

Teanne is a Trustee of Rio Cinema, a Grade Il listed independent Art Deco cinema in east London, a BAFTA voting member and a co-founder of BAFTA qualifying S.O.U.L FEST, now in its fourth year. In 2022, Teanne has co-curated two international projects in Jamaica (The Shot List) and Kenya (Love Letters to Cinema) with We Are Parable and is a creative in residence at the Barbican.
