Stephen Fingleton
Born in Northen Ireland, Stephen Fingleton was selected by Screen Daily as a 2013 Screen Star of Tomorrow, described as ‘hotly tipped’ by Variety and Irish Independent named him as one of “14 names to watch in 2014”. Stephen was one of 16 filmmakers chosen for the BFI Lighthouse short film scheme, which funded his short film SLR. The film won Best Irish Short at the Foyle Film Festival and was shortlisted for a Oscar. Stephen’s screeplay for The Survivalist was voted onto Hollywood’s Black List and topped the 2013 UK Brit List for the years best unproduced scripts. Stephen has recently written a screenplay for Ridley Scott, as well as working on a script for Working Title.
