Samuel Adewunmi

Samuel is most widely recognised as the lead in Shola Amoo’s feature film The Last Tree, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. His riveting performance won him the 2019 BIFA for Most Promising Newcomer and he was selected as a Screen Star of Tomorrow. Additionally, Variety also announced him as one of their 10 Europeans to watch in 2020. Last year, Samuel starred in Agustí Villaronga’s Born a King opposite Ed Skrein. Samuel has also appeared in many acclaimed TV shows such as Doctor Who and The Missing. Most recently, Samuel has finished filming The Watch for BBC Studio, which is set to premier in 2021, and is currently filming television series Angela Black for ITV Studios.
