Rupert Friend was born on October 1, 1981 in Oxfordshire, England as Rupert William Anthony Friend. He is an actor and writer, known for Homeland (2011), The Young Victoria (2009) and Pride & Prejudice (2005).
In 2004 he was nominated for the BIFA Award for Most Promising Newcomer, and in 2013 he was nominated for the BIFA for Best Supporting Actor.
