Rupert Everett
Rupert Everett shot to fame in 1981 when he played the openly gay student Guy Burgess in Julian Mitchell’s play Another Country and its subsequent film adaptation. Since then he has be celebrated for stage and screen work, particularly his roles in the films My Best Friend’s Wedding and An Ideal Husband, as well as his voice work as Prince Charming in the Shrek franchise. He has played the writer Oscar Wilde in various different stage and screen productions but earned a BIFA nod for his portrayal of the man in 2018 for his starring turn in A Happy Prince.
