Philip Barantini

Philip Barantini is an award-winning BAFTA and BIFA nominated director who started his career in 1996 as an actor appearing in BAND OF BROTHERS, NED KELLY and CHERNOBYL.

Philip’s critically acclaimed second directorial feature BOILING POINT was nominated for four BAFTAs this year, including Outstanding British Film, and received 11 BIFA nominations. The film received six nominations at the 2022 The Big Screen Awards, including Best British Film of the Year and Breakthrough British Filmmaker.

Philip has recently finished directing all five episodes of ITV’s upcoming thriller series MALPRACTICE and is in post-production on ACCUSED, his latest film. He will soon commence filming a BBC-commissioned series sequel of BOILING POINT.
