Molly Manning Walker
Molly Manning Walker originally trained as a Cinematographer. She graduated from the NFTS with an MA in Cinematography. Her graduation film, NOVEMBER 1ST, took Bronze at the Student Academy awards and was long-listed for a BAFTA among other festivals it was in competition at camerimage – the worlds leading cinematography festival.
This year Molly shot the first block of Nicole Lecky’s tv show Superhoe directed by Dawn Shadforth and produced by Bonafide. Molly then went on to shoot Charlotte Regan’s debut feature Scrapper produced by Theo Barrowclough at DMC films for BBC films and the BFI.
Molly’s directing debut was the short film Good Thanks, You? which stared Jasmine Jobson and Michael Ward. The film premiered at Semaine De la critique Cannes and went on to play at many festivals. Molly’s second short The Forgotten C starred Mandeep Dhillon and was BIFA nominated.
Molly recently returned from scouting ‘How To Have Sex’ her first directorial feature which is being produced by Ivana Mckinon and Emily Leo. The film is being developed by Film4 and recently won the next step prize at Cannes.
