Matthew Warchus

Matthew Warchus is a director of theatre, opera and film. He was appointed as Artistic Director of The Old Vic theatre in 2015. Film work includes Pride (BIFA Best British Independent Film and Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy). His extensive theatre and opera credits include A Christmas Carol,Groundhog Day, Matilda the Musical, ‘Art’, The Caretaker, The Master Builder, Future Conditional, Speed-the-Plow, The Norman Conquests, Ghost The Musical, La Bête, God of Carnage, Boeing-Boeing, The Lord of the Rings, Buried Child, Endgame, Our House, Life x 3, True West, Falstaff, Così Fan Tutte and The Rake’s Progress.
