Margaret McGoldrick
Margaret McGoldrick is a Northern Irish producer/director. In 2020, she participated in the Women In Film Mentorship scheme, was part of the 2019 Filmonomics cohort, and in 2022, shadowed mentor-director Jon East during BBC’s Bloodlands S2 followed by S3 Directors of Britbox/BBC drama Hope Street. Margaret was a recipient of the 2022 Lord David Puttnam Scholarship. Margaret has produced several award-winning short films over the years, many of which taken awards and screenings at festivals including Aesthetica, Galway Film Fleadh, Belfast Film Festival, Raindance and SeriesFest. Most of these shorts have been released via online platforms and SVODS including Omeleto, ALTER, Discover.Film, Irish broadcaster RTE, and Samansa. In 2023, Margaret produced her feature debut, thriller Lie of the Land which would premiere at Galway Film Fleadh, taking Best Irish Debut. She is currently in production with feature doc Hollywood Trailblazer: The Debra Hill Story with Jamie Lee Curtis as EP.
