KHARMEL COCHRANE Kharmel began her journey as a Casting Director with the critically acclaimed Daniel Wolfe music video Time to Dance, featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Callum Turner. Her early success was quickly followed by celebrated films such as Lilting (2014) and the BAFTA-winning short film Home (2016).

Over the past 14 years, Kharmel has established herself as a dynamic force in casting, renowned for championing fresh, diverse talent. Her impressive portfolio includes groundbreaking projects such as The Witch (2015), The End of the F**king World (2017), The Lighthouse (2019), Saint Maud (2019), and The Northman (2022).

Now one of the most sought-after names in casting, Kharmel seamlessly navigates between independent gems and major blockbusters. Recent highlights include John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), Rye Lane (2023), Bob Marley: One Love (2024), Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn (2023), and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024).

This year alone, she has collaborated with renowned filmmakers such as Alejandro González Iñárritu, Romain Gavras, Kristoffer Borgli, Edgar Wright, and Chris Columbus.
