Karen Gillan

It seems just like yesterday that Karen Gillan stepped on to our screens, appearing on Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith, but since her debut on the show in 2010, she has managed to build an impressive career in television and film. She has gained world-wide recognition for her performances in Hollywood blockbusters, including the role of Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and Martha in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In 2018, she earned her first writing and directorial credit for her first film The Party’s Just Beginning which also earned the star a BIFA nomination in the Debut Screenwriter category.
