Jason Solomons

Jason Solomons is Chairman of the London Film Critics’ Circle. He is a writer and critic for The Observer, the paper which has housed his legendary Trailer Trash film column for over 10 years. Jason presents the award-winning Film Weekly podcast and also hosts the internet interview series In The Director’s Chair, both on guardian.co.uk. He has weekly radio slots on BBC London and BBC 6 Music, as well as being a regular face on television channels such as Film Four and BBC News. Jason is a season-ticket holder at Arsenal, DJs funk and jazz nights in north London pubs and likes cooking fish. He and his wife Tessa are expecting their second baby boy on New Year’s Eve.
