Hope Hopkinson

Hope is one of our Advisory Committee Young Committee members. She has worked on the Marketing & Sponsorship teams at Picturehouse Cinemas since 2022, heading up the social strategy & management as well as working on Sundance Film Festival London, and project managing nationwide partnership campaigns in cinemas all the way from Brighton to Edinburgh. She’s a graduate in Philosophy and worked as a Culture & Lifestyle editor at The Cherwell, as well as previously spending time as a freelance writer & social media manager.

As part of her work at Picturehouse, she’s a regular host on The Love of Cinema Podcast, interviewing filmmakers such as Jordan Peele, Ira Sachs, Bertrand Bonello, Alex Garland, Charlotte Regan & more. She produces original video content for social media, hosts & programmes screenings, as well as writing for print & online all about her love for film. She’s fiercely passionate about independent cinema — if she’s not working to promote & platform films in her work, you’ll most likely find her in the cinema watching them!
