HANNAH WALTERS Hannah Walters is a British actor known for her role in THIS IS ENGLAND (2006), and recently, BIFA winning film BOILING POINT (2021) as pastry chef Emily, created by Philip Barrantini and James Cummings.

Hannah’s can next be seen in the anticipated British boxing drama, A THOUSAND BLOWS, coming to Disney+ and Hulu in 2025. Hannah has recently started filming AMAZING GRACE, directed by Ruth Carney.

Hannah’s notable film credits include Twentieth Century Fox’s WALK LIKE A PANTHER, FUNNY COW, starring Maxine Peake, Disney’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN TELLS NO TALES, and BIFA Best Film THIS IS ENGLAND (2006), written and directed by Shane Meadows.

In television, Hannah is most known for her roles in series 3 and 4 of BBC crime drama WHITECHAPEL, as DC Megan Riley; and her regular role in THIS IS ENGLAND ’86, ‘88 AND ’90 shown on Channel 4 in 2010, 2011 and 2015. Her other television credits include roles ITV’s MALPRACTICE and PRU and TIME for the BBC.

Alongside Stephen Graham, she co-founded Matriarch Productions an entertainment production company who aims to provide a much-needed platform for underrepresented voices and stories in the UK. Their credits include BOILING POINT (2021) and its most recent TV series for the BBC. BOILING POINT (2021) won BAFTA Scotland Best Actress for Izuka Hoyle, BIFA Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actress for Vinette Robinson, and Best Casting. It was also nominated for BAFTA Best Leading Actor, Outstanding Debut by a British writer, Director, or Producer, Best Casting, and Outstanding British Film of the Year. Their next project, A THOUSAND BLOWS with Disney+ is coming to the streamer in 2025.
