Daniel Kokotajlo

Starting his career writing and directing a series of short films (The Death of an Online Warrior [2010], Myra [2011], Every Good Boy Does Fine [2012], Gummy Man Rage [2012], Off Yer ‘Ead [2014]), Kokotajlo made his feature length-debut with the critically acclaimed Apostasy [2018], based on his experiences as part of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The film was nominated for 6 BIFA awards including nods in the The Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director and Debut Screenwriter categories for Kokotajlo himself.
