With more than 50 feature credits, the five-time Oscar-nominated Anne is a veritable legend of the cutting room, counting Lawrence Of Arabia, Murder On The Orient Express, The Elephant Man, The Pirates Of Penzance, Chaplin, Out Of Sight, Erin Brockovich and Adrian Lyne’s Unfaithful among her many efforts. Women accounted for 16 percent of all editors working on the top 250 films of 2004, and 80 percent of the films had no females on their editing teams at all. Countering that trend, in literal support of the notion that success breeds success, Anne’s daughter, Emma E. Hickox, is one of the industry’s brightest stars.
