Adam Pearson
ADAM PEARSON is an award-winning disability rights campaigner, actor, presenter and speaker. As an actor, he appeared in the BAFTA-nominated film Under the Skin, directed by Jonathan Glazer and starring Scarlett Johansson. He also played himself in the independent feature DRIB, which premiered at SXSW in 2017. Adam starred in the lead role of Chained for Life, which received theatrical releases in the UK and US and was showcased at film festivals worldwide. His performance earned high praise, with The New York Times describing him as “an actor of great charm.” Most recently, Adam co-starred in the multiple award-winning film A Different Man alongside Sebastian Stan, receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of ‘Oswald’ and a nomination for a Gotham Film Award.
In addition to acting, Adam has presented several impactful documentaries, including Horizon: My Amazing Twin (BBC Two), Adam Pearson: Freak Show (BBC Three), The Ugly Face of Disability Hate Crime (BBC Three), and Eugenics: Science’s Greatest Scandal (BBC Four).
