We believe that filmmaking is, above all, our most collaborative art form, and it is just as important to celebrate casting directors, editors, effect specialists and musicians as it is to celebrate writers, actors and directors. We hope that our new categories will shine a light on some of the lesser-known aspects of making films, create role models in industries that were previously difficult to approach and encourage other industry bodies to increase their representation and celebration of British film craftspeople.
The winners in our nine new craft categories will be announced on Thursday 23rd November. But before everyone starts picking out their suits and frocks, there’s time for a quick quiz!
