We’re excited to reveal the longlist for Best Feature Documentary sponsored by Intermission Film.
12 films are longlisted for Best Feature Documentary sponsored by Intermission Film with 5 of this year’s films also longlisted for Best Debut Director – Feature Documentary. The film explore a wide variety of subjects including the 1984 Miner’s Strike, professional snooker, and even an attempt to stage a production of Hamlet in the world of Grand Theft Auto.
The final five nominations in each category will be announced Tuesday 5 November across BIFA’s website and social media channels. Winners will be revealed at the 27th BIFA ceremony on Sunday 8 December.
