The British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) today announced that 14 films are longlisted in the Best Documentary category sponsored by Intermission Film. 10 of the 14 documentaries are directed or co-directed by women and non-binary filmmakers.
The final five nominations will be announced on Wednesday 3 November. Winners will be revealed at the BIFA ceremony on Sunday 5 December.
