BIFA Goes to the Cannes Film Festival

The British Independent Film Awards returned to the Cannes Film Festival for it’s third year.

The British Independent Film Awards (BIFAS) returned to the Cannes Film Festival again this year and hosted a Cocktail Reception at the Gray D’Albion’s Tahiti Beach. Although it was the stormiest day of the festival and the mistral appeared to be in full force, it didn’t keep our guests away. As with all BIFA events it was attended by a cross-section of British film talent from up and coming directors, independent film producers, studio executives and actors including Natalie Press whose film RED ROAD received this year’s Cannes Jury Prize and Patron Ken Loach who received the 2006 Palm d’or for THE WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY.
