The story of Beverly Glenn-Copeland, a 75 year old African American trans man, who recorded an album called Keyboard Fantasies in an Atari-powered home studio in the 1980s. Three decades later, he was rediscovered thanks to a rare-record collector in Japan, leading to a reissue and remix albums connecting with new generations across the globe. This film is an intimate coming of age story spinning pain and the suffering of prejudice into rhythm, hope and joy. A timely lullaby to soothe those souls struggling to make sense of the world.
