BIFA were excited to welcome the 2020 emerging womxn filmmakers to a very special Zoom event celebrating their achievements. Hosted by journalist Anna Smith, the event invited womxn filmmakers long listed in the Debut Director, Debut Screenwriter and Breakthrough Producer categories to meet one another, hear from a panel of industry experts and discuss their experiences of working in the film industry and how to capitalise on BIFA recognition.
Although we couldn’t be together, with help from Champagne Taittinger, BIFA were thrilled to raise a glass to the most exciting emerging womxn filmmakers the UK has to offer. Cheers!
