BIFA X Name Me Lawand

In celebration of the release of Name Me Lawand, we’ve teamed up with Bertha DocHouse to bring you an amazing ticket giveaway. All entries must be received by 12:59 GMT 5 July 2023.

Prizes

There will be 1 winner, chosen at random by following the BIFA and Bertha DocHouse Instagram accounts, tagging another user account and stating the location in which you wish to see the film in the comments.

The prize bundle consists of 2 tickets to the screening of Name Me Lawand + Q&A with director Edward Lovelace on Sat 8^th, 15:30 at Bertha DocHouse (Curzon Bloomsbury).

Open to UK residents aged 30 or under only. Members must be 18 and over.

Competition Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to all UK residents but you must be between 18-30 years old at the time of entry to be eligible.
The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
In order to submit an entry, comment on the post tagging another user account and state the location in which you wish to see the film in the comments.
Entrants found to be using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
The competition starts at 15:00 GMT 28 June 2023 and ends at 12:59 GMT 5 July 2023. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
The winners will be notified within 1 day of the closing date by direct message on Instagram. Winners must provide a full postal address, email address, and confirmation of their age to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter with the required details within 1 day of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
The prize is in the form of a name entry on the guest list. The winners name will be added to the screening guest list within 2 days of receipt of full name, email address, and confirmation of age.
The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
The prize is supplied by BIFA, via the respective organisation offering the prize (Bertha DocHouse). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name, social media post, and/or photograph or video in any media.
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
