BIFA X IN FROM THE SIDE GIVEAWAY

In celebration of the release of In From the Side, we’ve teamed up with Vue and BFI to offer an amazing giveaway. All entries must be received by 11:59pm 11 September 2022.

Prizes

There will be 10 winners, chosen at random by following the BIFA Instagram account, tagging another user account and stating the location in which they wish to see the film in the comments.

The prize bundle consists of 2 tickets to a preview screening of In From the Side at Vue cinemas on the 14th of September. The winner can choose any Vue cinema holding a preview screening on the 14th. The cinema listings can be found here.

Open to UK residents aged 25 or under only. Members must be 18 and over.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition is open to all UK residents but you must be  under the age of 25 at the time of entry to be eligible. 
  2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  3. In order to submit an entry, comment on the post tagging another user account and state the location in which you wish to see the film in the comments.
  4. Entrants found to be using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
  5. The competition starts at 16:00 GMT 08 September 2022 and ends at 11:59 GMT 11 September 2022. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  7. The winners will be notified within 2 days of the closing date by direct message on Instagram. Winners must provide a full postal address, email address, and confirmation of their age to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter with the required details within 1 day of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  8. The prize is in the form of a booking reference which winners can use to pick up tickets at the tills in the cinema. The winners will receive the booking reference within 2 days of receipt of full postal address, email address, and confirmation of age.
  9. Vue will endeavour to seat winner and guest together, but can’t guarantee this if the screen is close to being sold out.
    In the event that their preferred cinema is sold out, we can offer tickets to the next closest non sold out screening
  10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  11. The prize is supplied by BIFA, via the respective organisation offering the prize (Vue). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  16. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name, social media post, and/or photograph or video in any media.
  17. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
  18. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  19. The Promoter of this competition is the British Independent Film Awards of 22 Golden Square, London W1F 9AD.
