BIFA X GOMI SPEAKER GIVEAWAY

To celebrate BIFA 2023, we’re giving away a blue tooth speaker, made exclusively by gomi for BIFA, using the same material as the 2023 trophies. All entries must be received by 23:59 GMT 2 January 2024.

‘Gomi was created with a clear sense of purpose – to make beautiful products that last. Our design philosophy is that tech shouldn’t become obsolete. Instead, we design for circular lifespans. Waste plastics and second-life batteries form the building blocks. Modular design allows us to fix what might otherwise have been thrown away.’

Prizes

There will be 2 x winners, chosen at random by following the BIFA Instagram account, tagging another user account in the comments.

The prize bundle consists of a special edition handcrafted UK-made Bluetooth speaker made from recycled plastic with portable immersive sound, created using offcuts from this year’s BIFA trophy.

Open to UK residents only. Members must be 18 and over.

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open to all UK residents. 
2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3. In order to submit an entry, follow @bifa_film and @gomidesign and comment on the giveaway post tagging another user account.
4. Entrants found to be using multiple accounts to enter will be ineligible.
5. The competition starts at 10:00 GMT 12 December 2023 and ends at 23:59 GMT 2 January 2024. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
7. The winners will be notified within 2 days of the closing date by direct message on Instagram. Winners must provide a full name and address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter with the required details within 2 day of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
8. All entrants must have a mainland UK address for the prize to be shipped to.
9. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
10. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
11. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
13. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
14. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name, social media post, and/or photograph or video in any media.
15. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
16. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
